DDTV VIDEO: DONEGAL V ANTRIM: McGUINNESS NOT BAITED BY ‘PUKE FOOTBALL’ JIBE

DONEGAL start their bid for the Ulster Championship against Antrim in Ballybofey on Sunday – and we have a special 10 minute video preview of the game including interviews with manager Jim McGuinness and some of the key players.

This video footage is brought to you by jacksonstvmedia. You can watch the interview now by clicking on the play button above – or on the DDTV channel to the right.

Jim McGuinness reckons Antrim boss Liam Bradley is trying to play mind games by accsusing Donegal of playing ‘puke football’ and being very defensive!

“Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I don’t know if it is mind games or what he is trying to achieve with it,” said Jim.

“From our perspective we would be very happy that we finished the League on top of the division and the highest scoring average in the division. We won the League and from our perspective we wouldn’t consider that ultra-defensive.

“I would feel that to end up at the top of the pile at the end of the League you need to be doing something right offensively and I hope that the good work that we have done through the League can be replicated on Sunday.

“If somebody wants to brand it ultra-defensive and we can rack up some of the scores that we did throughout the League, then we will be happy enough to take that.”

And so say all of us!
