Gaeil Fhánada in conjunction with CLG Na nDúnaibh are hosting a fundraising Strictly Come Dancing with the Fanad heat taking place in the Milford Inn on Friday the 29th July.The Grand Final will be held on Aug 12th.
Eleven couples from the club area are currently in serious training rehearsing their steps and will provide a breath taking and entertaining night out. The event is ticket only and limited tickets are available from the dancers and Strictly Committee.
Congratulations to the Reserve team who recorded a fine win over Killybegs on Sunday last while the Seniors were unfortunately narrowly beaten in a keenly contested match. The teams have away League fixtures v N Columba on Saturday evening (25th), matches at 5.30 and 7.00 and the second leg of the Intermediate Championship v Aodh Rua takes place in Portsalon on July 3rd.
U8 training is taking a break for the next few weeks. Training will resume on Friday 15 July at 6:30 in Portsalon.
Gaeil Fhánada host a GAA Cúl Camp from July 18th-22nd. The camp is open to boys and girls from 6-13 and provides a great week of fun and activity. Application forms have been distributed to the local schools and will also be available at Mace Kerrykeel, Shiels Fanavolty and Ballylar P.O, or from co-ordinatior Fiona Shiels. Places can also be booked on line @vhiculcamps@gaa.ie All information re prices, times etc is included with the forms. Forms need to be returned as soon as possible in order to co-ordinate numbers.
