GAA: LETTERKENNY GAELS NOTES

Our Seniors were defeated by Naomh Padraig Muff at Páirc na Gael on Saturday evening last. In a very entertaining game the home side went down on a scoreline of 2.8 to 1.7  Aron Stewart, Ciaran Cannon and Oisín Cannon all played well for the Gaels. Both adult teams are in action this weekend with the reserves playing Na Rossa in a playoff on the Championship and the Seniors are out on Sunday when they travel to Moville for a League Match.The Minors are due to play St Michaels in the preliminary Round 1st Leg of the championship on Friday 22nd. Throw Inn in Dunfanaghy at 7.30pm. All minors should be attending training.

The U10s will host Termon in the U10 Blitzs next weekend.

Letterkenny Gaels ran a series of very successful hurling training sessions in glorious sunshine last week. Children of all ages sharpened up their skills and enjoyed fun and games. Thank you to all who helped.

U12 hurlers began their league matches away to Burt. Against a strong home team, all players gave their best. Next match is away to Four Masters next Thursday. Details at training on Tues, 6.30pm – new players always welcome.

The Club are hosting a Table Quiz in the Glencar Inn on Friday night the 22nd. Starting at 9pm. Parent and Players are all requested to support this venture.

Lotto results for the weekend will be included in next weeks notes. If jackpot does not go next weekends Jackpot will be 6,100 Euro.
