Well done to our senior and reserve teams, who both enjoyed good championship wins in Milford on Sunday last. The seniors ran out seven point winners: 0.14 to 0.07, while the reserves recorded a comprehensive 4.12 to 0.08 victory. Cúrsaí faoi aois: well done to our under 14 lads, who overcame Cill Chartha in the divisional semi-final, played on Monday evening in Dunkineely. We now face Na Cealla Beaga in the final, details of which are yet to be confirmed. The club extend their congratulations to Terence Cunnea, who’s London Irish team have won the Intermediate Championship, and to Paula Cunnea who is also involved in the team. It’s good to see Naomh Columba club people doing well away from home! Na Fianna live in the marquee: the club are proud to present the fantastic ‘Na Fianna’, live at Páirc na nGael on Sunday, August 7th 2011. Na Fianna became famous for their appearances on the All Ireland Talent Show, and have built up a massive following at home and abroad. The lads will take to the stage at 10pm, and will be followed by a disco. A cover charge of €10 will apply, payable on the door. A good crowd is expected and everyone is encouraged to come along early.
