Many congratulations to our under 14 team, and to their managers, Gabriel O’Neill and Andrew Gillespie, on their fantastic county final victory on Friday night last. Our lads overcame Aodh Rua, Killygordon in a breathtaking affair in Davy Brennan Memorial Park, Glenties. Well done to all involved – the club & parish are very proud! Our seniors suffered a disappointing defeat to St Michaels on Sunday last, despite a good display in the first half. The reserves fared better, winning with a seven point margin. We are scheduled to play host to Milford in the second leg of the championship this weekend. Games are set for Saturday, 4.30pm and 6pm starts in Páirc na nGael. Please come along and support the lads. The next club meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 8th, at 9.15pm in the clubhouse. We have been requested to start compiling information for the 2011 county yearbook, which will be launched at county convention.
