This is the dramatic moment when miracle woman Kelly Jones was airlifted to safety after being found four days after she went missing in Co Donegal.

Our exclusive picture shows Ms Jones being lifted away by the search and rescue helicopter to Sligo General Hospital just moments after being found.

Ms Jones, 41, was suffering form hypothermia as well as cuts and bruises and was extremely disorientated when she was discovered at the Old Rectory near Glencolmcille around 12.30pm this afternoon.

She is currently being treated by doctors at the hospital.

Ms Jones, from Georgia in the US, had been in Donegal for around 10 days before she went missing on Saturday afternoon last.

Brian Murray from Donegal Mountain Rescue said everyone is simply relieved that Ms Jones has been found safe and well.

“There was such a great response fromm everyone – especially those here in Glencolmcille.

“It was very much a team effort and we are just all so happy that she has been found,” he said.
