DANIEL SLAPS BAN ON ANY BIG PARTY FOR HIS 50TH!

He may not look almost half a century but Daniel O’Donnell is dreading his 50th birthday.

The millionaire singer celebrates his milestone birthday on December 12th next.

But he has left strict instructions that he doesn’t want a big party.

Wife Majella has revealed she has tried to change his mind and throw a lavish bash but the modest Donegal man doesn’t want to hear of it.

Instead Majella has private plans of her own for her man.

Majella revealed “Daniel will be 50 in December. He is adamant that he does not want to do anything for his birthday and I can’t change his mind.

“So I have told him that the two of us will go away on our own for a couple of days so that I can have him all to myself!

“I will take him somewhere really nice and spoil him! That’s the idea anyway. I’ll let you know how it goes,” said Majella.

Daniel has just finished starring at the Shore Festival in his native Kincasslagh.

Majella says she still finds it hard to believe the lengths fans will go to see Daniel.

“The Kincasslagh Festival went very well even though the wearher was awful! It amazes me how people are willing to stand in the rain and wind to see Daniel,” she said.

Despite vowing to wind down at the end of this year, Daniel has a hectic schedule next year.

He will spend February singing on a cruise ship and then jets off to Australia and New Zealand in March for a month long tour there.
