DONEGAL BROTHEL WOMAN EXPELLED FROM IRELAND

A LETTERKENNY-based Madam has been told to leave Ireland – after being found guilty of running a brothel.

She was one of two young Romanian women, who appeared in Drogheda District Court accused of brothel-keeping at an apartment block in the Co Louth town.

They were both given a one-week’s suspended sentence and order by Judge Flann Brennan to return home within the next month.

Florina Ciocan, who is 18 and Andree Roman, 22, told the court through interpreters that they are thirdlevel students and were planning to return home to Romania to continue their studies.

Both Ciocan and Roman, were convicted of brothel-keeping at Apartment 10, Malt House on September 2nd, 2011.

Ciocan’s address was given as 7 Cameron Gate, Main Street, Longford, while Roman’s was given as 2 Fairleigh House, High Road, Letterkenny.
