DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR WEEKEND, OCTOBER 15/16, 2011

DORRIAN

The death has taken place of Margaret Dorrian, of Donegal Street, Ballybofey; Surrounded by her loving family,in the tender care of the wonderful staff at the Donegal Hospice. Sadly missed by her husband J.J.,son John,daughters Margaret & Angela, brother John,grandchildren,daughter in law,sons in law,nephews,nieces,relatives and many friends. May She Rest In Peace Removal from the Hospice on Monday at 3pm to her late residence. Funeral leaving her home at 10.30 on Wednesday morning for 11 o’clock requiem mass in St.Mary’s church,Stranorlar,interment afterwards in Drumboe cemetery. Family flowers only please,donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice,C/o of any family member. Family time from 11pm until 10am.

BABY MEGAN JESSICA MOORE

At Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin. Beloved daughter of Johnny Moore and Gillian Devenney. Reposing at Dooish, Newtowncunningham. Service today, Sunday, at 4.30pm in All Saints Church of Ireland, Newtowncunningham, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

LAWN

The death has taken place at Brindley Manor Nursing Home, Convoy of Francis Lawn, Ballykillowen, Donegal Town. Remains reposing at the family home. Removal from his residence on Monday morning at 10.15am for 11am Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Clar. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House is strictly private after 10pm until 10am & on the morning of the funeral.

TOWNLEY (ENGLAND)

The death has taken place of Fiona Townley nee Hunter, Daughter of Eilis and the late Kenny Hunter, Drumany, Letterkenny. Burial will take place on Tuesday at 11am in St Georges Church, Toddington, England

McBRIDE

The sudden death had taken place at his residence of Paddy Mc Bride, Lia Fáil, New Line Road, Letterkenny, and formerly of Ballin Temple, Falcarragh. His remains will repose at his home today (Sun) from 2pm to 10pm. Funeral mass tomorrow (Monday)  at 10am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Donegal Hospice, c/o Pascal Blake Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny. Family only on the morning of the Funeral.

SHIELDS

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Annie Shields, Church Lane, St Johnston. Remains reposing at her late residence. Funeral from there tomorrow (Monday) at 10.30am going to St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o Sean Kelly Funeral Director, Raphoe, or any Family member.

McELHINNEY

The death has taken place in the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of David McElhinney, Portnablagh, Dunfanaghy. His remains are reposing at his late residence. A memorial service will take place tomorrow (Monday) at 12 noon in the Oznam Centre, Dunfanaghy. Cremation will take place at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast on Tuesday at 12 noon. House private please.

NULTY

The sudden death has taken place of Michael Nulty, Stragill, Buncrana. Funeral arrangements later.
