ROSAPENNA GOLF CLUB NOTES

The Sunday competition on the 16th of October was won by Garvin Toye 20 with 44 pts. Runner up was Vlad Bautris 19 with 38 pts. The gross winner was Enda Kennedy 0 with 35 pts.

Third place was John Casey 9 with 37 pts bot.

The Generations Cup presented by Lady Captain Mary Devlin took place on Saturday 15th October on the Old Tom Morris Links.

The winners with a 64 nett were Mick Gallagher Jnr & Ronan Gallagher.

Runners up were Seimi Connor & Lorcan Connor with 65.5 nett.

1st Ladies section – Suzanne Gallagher & Bronagh Gallagher 78.5 nett.

Category 1 winners were Pat Boyce & Conor Boyce 68.5 nett.

Category 2 winners were Padraig & Pauric McGinty with 74.5 nett.

Front 9 winners were Ben McNutt Jnr and Ben McBride Snr with 33.5 nett.

Back 9 winners were Charlie McBride & Connor Meehan with 34 nett.

The Centenary Cup (aggregate stableford score any combination Ladies/Gents) will take place on the Old Tom Morris Links this Sunday 23rd of October.

The Ladies & Gents Seiko competitions will take place on the Old Tom Morris Links on Saturday the 29th of October.

Six inch placing not nearer the hole on fairways only will come into play from Friday the 21st of October on both golf courses.

Members must book a tee time on a Saturday & Sunday to avoid disappointment and to allow the first tee to operate efficiently.

Cutting in at the 10th tee on the Old Links is strictly not permitted at any time at weekends.

Tee times can be booked via the Pavilion Golf Shop between 8am & 4pm everyday.

The Sandy Hills Links is strictly green fee only and all players must check in with the Pavilion Golf Shop before play.

The Pavilion Restaurant is open on Saturday & Sunday night.

The new Sunday night set menu is available this Sunday from 4.30pm – 8.00pm with two courses for 20e, three courses for 25e.

The Gents Captains Weekend to Ballyliffin G.C will take place on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th of November. Further details to follow.

PGA Professional Noel Callan is available for lessons at the Rosapenna Practice Ground every Thursday and selected other days by appointment, all enquires can be made by contacting Noel directly on 0044 7789 157654.
