GAA: NAOMH COLUMBA GAA NOTES

Both our seniors and reserves lost out to Cill Chartha in Towney on Sunday afternoon. This leaves us in the position whereby we must win our last league game to retain our place in Division 2, and avoid a relegation play-off. This game takes place on Sunday, away to Glenfin. Throw-in times 1pm for the reserves and 2.30pm for the seniors. Best of luck to the lads, and we need to see a large crowd travelling to support. We are now taking orders from anyone who wishes to purchase club gear as Christmas presents. All orders must be in by Sunday, November 27^th, to ensure that we will have the gear before Christmas. Also we now have club wristbands available to purchase. The annual Naomh Columba dinner dance takes place on Thursday, December 29^th, in the Blue Haven Hotel.

We are delighted to welcome back the fantastic Na Fianna as our night’s entertainment, followed by DJ Owen Doc. Tickets are a bargain, priced at €30 for dinner and entertainment. Stars in Their Eyes 2012 is set for Saturday, February 4^th. We are recruiting singers as we speak, so anyone who is interested please get in touch.
