The Bord Na nOg AGM was held last weekend and there was a large attendance. This was a very progressive meeting with many topics and strategies discussed and the following officers were elected for 2012: Chairman – Gary Boyle, Secretary – Declan Martin, PRO – Michael Logue, Registrar – Declan Martin and Regional Board Delegate – Charlie Boyle/Declan Martin. Anybody interested in getting involved with a team is asked to contact the board. Managers for teams for 2012 will be approved at the monthly meeting in January.

Under 8 and under 10 training has finished up for this year and will resume again in the new year.

U12 Training continues in the Dungloe gym on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.

There is a level 1 coaching course taking place this Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd December for all coaches who have completed the Foundation level and are ready to move to the next level. It is important that we continue to develop and have recognised coaches in place for the underage teams. Contact Gary Boyle for details or if you are interested on 0863546193.

Well done RCS who are through to the Senior Schools Final after beating a much fancies Kilcar team last week. Good luck to all involved in the final.

The Club had a very successful Scrap Saturday last Saturday and thanks to all whom contributed and helped out on the day.

Potential Michael Flately’s or Jean Butler’s are being identified for a Night of Jigs and Reels. Big speculation surrounds the names of the dancers for the 2012 Jigs n Reels which will take place in Aislann Rann na Feirste on March 31st.

The club wish to express thanks to the companies and business premises who have renewed the Annual Yearly Rental for Advertising space at Mullaghderg Park.”The Banks”. We welcome and thank the new Advertisers who have come on board this year.
