A leading estate agent has appealed to landowners to seek advice before acting in one of Donegal’s biggest compulsory purchase orders in recent years.
Donegal County Council has issued notification to over 100 land-owners of their intention to acquire, by use of its powers under the Planning and Development Acts, various pieces of land along the N56 road between Leitirmacaward Village and the Kilraine junction south of Glenties.
The CPOs will have various implications for landowners along the stretch of the land close to the Gweebarra Bridge.
