A man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a lamp-post outside the LIDL supermarket in Donegal Town.
The single-vehicular accident happened at round 6.45pm.
No other people were hurt in the smash.
Gardai and ambulance personnel were on the scene within minutes and the man has been taken to Sligo General Hospital.
It is not believed his injuries are serious.
Traffic diversions are in place on the road.
