DEVELOPER MAY PROVIDE SOME ‘RELIEF’ FOR BUSY LETTERKENNY SHOPPERS!

The developer of Letterkenny’s biggest retail park is being urged to locate public toilets in the outlet.

At present there are no public toilet facilities at the Link Retail Park which includes a number of major shops including Argos, TX Maxx, Marks and Spencer, Dunnes Stores, Halfords and Smyths Toys.

However local town councillor Jimmy Kavanagh said there is a real need for public toilets in the area.

He has asked the local town council to approach the developer of the park to see what can be done.

“The retail park has become a hugely busy part of our town. It does not have any public toilet facilities and we can continue to rely on the goodwill of cafes and restaurants in the area,” he said.

A spokesman for the council told Cllr Kavanagh that the issue has been discussed with the developer who is giving it some consideration.
