Four Masters G.A.A. Club Notes

The €50 winners in the Annual Lotto for Week 28 were Joseph Britton, Main Street and John Hannigan, Drumlonagher. The numbers drawn were 1, 5, 9 & 23 with the jackpot now standing at €8,600.

The monthly meeting of the Senior Board takes place next Monday night January 30th at 8.30 pm in the Abbey Hotel.

The Club will host a ‘Creating Sustainable Club Coaching Structures’ workshop on Thursday February 2nd at 8.00 pm in the Abbey Hotel. It is very important that all Club Officers, Team Managers and Coaches involved in Football, Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Football attend this 90-minute workshop that will shape our coaching structures for the years ahead.

Bord na nOg and the Ladies Board are hosting a Table Quiz in Dom’s Pier 1 on Friday February 3rd at 9.00 p.m. in aid of our underage football, hurling, ladies football and camogie teams. Entry is €5.00 per person or a Table of 4 for €20.00 payable on the night. Vouchers sponsored by Dom’s Pier 1 will be presented to the winning team.

The Annual Dinner and Presentation of Club Awards for 2011 will take place on Saturday February 18th in Dom’s Pier 1 at 7.30 pm sharp. Tickets will be on sale priced at €20.00 next week.

Membership @ €50.00 per adult over 18 years of age is now due and should be paid to Registrar, Michael Martin (087) 6198905 as soon as possible.

The Club would like to thank every member of the public and business/farming community who supported their three SCRAP SATURDAYS on November 12th, November 19th and January 21st and helped make them a great success for the Club. We would also like to thank Mc Monagle Stone, Mountcharles for their tremendous assistance with weighing the scrap collections on our behalf.
