YOU LUCKY PIG GERRY! NO ‘RASHER’ DECISIONS FOR DONEGAL MAN ON WINNING STREAK

DONEGAL man Gerry Coyle couldn’t take his lucky pet pig on RTE’s Winning Streak this weekend – but he still pocketed a small fortune on the show.

Earlier we reported how RTE said the Coyles, from Newtowncunningham, couldn’t bring pet pot-bellied pig Glen to the show for health and safety reasons.

And lucky Glen – who has brought Gerry loads of luck in recent months – didn’t quite rub off as he didn’t get to spin the wheel of fortune.

That was despite dad of six Gerry saying ‘hello’ to Glen on TV!

But his luck didn’t run out completely.

Gerry did get his hands on a brand new Opel Astra worth €20,000 and €10,200 in cash.

Said the 47-year-old: “We had a fabulous day out in Dublin. It was just incredible and we are very happy with our winnings.

“But we won’t be making any rash-er decisions.”
