GAA NOTES: NAOMH BRID

The seniors had their first outing of the season away to Claudy from Derry in the Ulster Intermediate League on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately the boys ended up on the wrong side of the scoreline. Next up is a game against Slaughtmanus from Derry this coming Sunday 12th February at 2pm in Ballyshannon. Everyone is encouraged to get out and support the lads on the day.

The club wishes our Chairman Martin O’Malley the very best on his retirement from An Garda Siochana. The club were delighted to see a great turn out in the community centre on Friday night for a very well respected and highly thought of member of the community.

There is an umpires course on the 29th February in Ballybofey for anyone who is interested in going. Contact Gerard Gallagher on 087 2239042 if interested.

Bord Na Nog registration for 2012 takes place on Saturday February 11th at Pairc Naomh Brid between 11am and 12.30pm. All those boys and girls who turn 6 years or older in 2012 are invited along.

Anyone with any information they wish to have included in the club notes should contact Shane Walsh on shanew03@live.ie by 6pm on Monday evening.
