REVEALED: DONEGAL CHEF LAUNCHES BID TO SAVE YOU 30% ON YOUR FOOD BILLS

A CLEVER Co Donegal chef has launched an online plan to save families up to 30% on their weekly food bills – by simply planning ahead.

Sian Breslin of Donegal Manor Cookery School is behind www.siansplan.com which is now available on donegaldaily.com by clicking our new Recipes button on our home page.

By following her simple and easy-to-follow food plans, families can learn how to save a fortune as well as how to eat good food.

She is an experienced home economics teacher by profession having taught secondary school students and adults for over 25 years in England and Ireland. More recently Sian has been running an award winning four-star guest house and cookery school.

“The plan I have come up with is all about good cooking and saving money,” she said.

“There are several issues that home cooks face today. There is the need to control food shopping, optimise health, reduce food waste, and eliminate mealtime stress.

“Siansplan.com addresses these issues through Meal Plan in Colour including 4 Red days where you plan, shop and cook and one Green day where you cook from leftovers.”

Siansplan.com is described as a lifestyle solution to global health, family economics, and food waste.

It was launched recently in the glorious surroundings of l’Ecrivian in Dublin where chef Derry Clarke and his team served up the finest food.

The online planner is supported by the Donegal County Enterprise Board.

You can log onto www.siansplan.com by clicking our Recipe button and sign up for a free account with the option to upgrade to one of 3 plans tailored to your cooking styles; Basic Cook (Free), Confident Cook (€4.99/m) and Foodie (€9.99/m).

For more information, contact Sian Breslin, CEO – sian@siansplan.com or call 0749725222.
