GAA: FANAD GAELS WEEKLY GAA NOTES

Lotto Results:

Membership:
Underage membership being taken this Sunday in Rossnakill Resource Centre between 12.00pm and 2.00pm. Underage membership is €5. It is a rule within Gaeil Fhánada that at least one parent becomes a member of the club.
Adult membership options for 2012: Pay lotto and membership together by standing order from your bank account, Weekly €5.00 (Save €30), Monthly €20.00 (Save €50) or Annual €200.00(Save €90), Stand alone membership €30.00.
New membership forms are available from any committe member. They should be returned to club registrar Margaretta McConigley with payment or standing order. Alternatively you can go to Rossnakill Resource Centre this Sunday between 12.00pm and 2.00pm and pay membership.

Under 8 Training:
Under 8 training continues on Sunday 19th in Rossnakill Resource Centre at 12.15pm Sharp. Any child born in 2004, 2005, 2006 or 2007 are eligible to play for the year ahead. Please bring your own waterbottle and €1 for the use of the hall. For any other info contact Martin McAteer @ 074 9163472.

Scrap Saturday:
Change of date: Gaeil Fhánada have changed the date for their Scrap Saturday. It will now be held on Saturday 15th April. Anyone who has scrap metal for collection can contact Fiona Shiels for details on 0851555645. Large items i.e Cars, machinery etc.. can be collected from your home on the day if you arrange with the committee beforehand. Leaflets detailing what can be scrapped will be distributed in the coming weeks.

Scór:
Best of luck to our club members who are taking part in Scór Sinsir this Saturday night. This is the county semi final and it takes place in Glenswilly GAA Centre at 7.30pm. As usual, this promises to be a great nights entertainment as the clubs battle it iut for a place in the county finals at the end of the month. Gaeil Fhánada will be represented in the following sections: Quiz, Ballad Group and Music Group.

Peile Na Gaeltacht:
Gaeil Fhánada senior team have been drawn against Glenfin in the quarter finals of Comórtas Peile na Gaeltacht, date to be confirmed. The reserves will play the winners of Cloughaneeley and Downings.

Date for Diary:
Gaeil Fhánada Ladies Board and Bord na nÓg will be holding a Sponsored Fun Walk on Good Friday, 6th April from Kerrykeel to Rossnakill. Watch this space for more information.
