GAA NOTES: TERMON

Ladies Board:

The club intend to have a Junior ladies team again this year given the success last year. If you are interested in playing this coming year, please contact Harry McGlynn on 086 850 0734. There will be a players meeting for both Senior and Junior players in the coming weeks to organise training etc.

Minor Board:

Congratulations to the U12 boys, Stephen McDaid, Anthony Grant, Adam McElwaine, Ryan McFadden, Adam Doherty & Kai McCafferty, who represented Termon during the half time of the Donegal / Laois League Game.

Under 6, 8 & 10 Training will resume in early March on Saturday mornings in An Craoibhin, More Information to follow in the coming weeks. New players are welcome to come along and join in before registration.

Lotto:

The Lotto draw took place in the Glenveagh Inn on Friday last. The winning numbers were 2, 13, 25 and 28. There was no Jackpot or match 3 winners. There were 3 winners in the open draw; Evelyn Toye, Orla Flanagan and Aoife Murray won €10 each. Next weeks draw takes place in the Lagoon, Termon. Gerard Grant and Martin Friel are the coordinators. The jackpot now is €1750.

The lotto rota at bingo for the coming weeks are

Friday 17th February; Termon Minor Board

Friday 24th February; Deirdre Gallagher and Eileen Egan

2nd March; Joe McDaid & Sara Harkin

Senior:

The Senior men will begin their season against Naomh Mhuire in the Junior Gaeltacht this Sunday the 19th of February at the Burn Road at 2p.m.

Club Social:

The club will be hosting a Mr and Mrs in the Lagoon on the 17th of February 2012. A good night’s craic is guaranteed.

Other:

A meeting will be held next Wednesday the 15th of February at 8.30pm in the Craoibhin to begin planning our clubs 50th anniversary celebrations in 2013. Anyone wishing to be involved in the organising of the celebrations is invited to attend.
