A number of athletes travelled to Belfast to the indoors last weekend. Bridget McDyer was 3rd in the Shot with Caoimhe Bonner was 2nd in the under 16’s with Anna Sweeney just missing out with a very good 4th place. Amy Hanna just missed out on a 3rd place medal position with a phot finish in the 60m sprint as well as a 4th in Long Jump. Sarah Doherty finished 4th in the 800m while Nicola Ni Bhaoil, Maria Sharkey, Saskia Boyle, Ultan Boyle all completed very well. Thanks to all parents and coaches who travelled and helped on another successful outing for the club.
The second race of the Spring 5k Series is scheduled for Sunday 26th February at 11am. Registration is now due so please contact Ita Gallagher or any committee member to get registered. 15 euro per child, 20 euro per adult and maximum fee of 40 euro per family.
