The Donegal Pet Rescue group is to open a charity shop in Letterkenny.

The shop, which will be located next to FBD Insurance at Lower Main Street, will help the charity raise much-needed funds to help sorts of neglected animals across Donegal.

The group is now looking for all sorts of unwanted goods including clothing, books and household items.

Donations of, or help in providing shelving, signage, general shop fitting, etc is also greatly appreciated by the charity.

The shop will also stock Donegal Pet rescue merchandise.

DPR is also using the shop as a Sell and Share space so people can sell their goods and donate a percentage of the profits to the animal charity.

The official opening takes place next Tuesday evening, February 28 at 7.30pm with the doors opening the following day for business.

Volunteers are also need for the day-to-day running of the shop and can contact Marian on 086 2592324.
