RE-POST: Tá Lá Agóide Náisiúnta ar fud na tíre ar an Satharn 25 Feabhra ag cur in éadan na ciorraithe i mBuiséad 2012 ag a bhfuil impleachtaí ar scoileanna bheaga. Ciallaíonn na ciorraithe seo go mbeidh níos mó páistí sna seomraí ranga agus níos lú tacaíocht ar fáil do na páistí.

Tá Craobh an Earagail de Chumann Múinteoirí Éireann ag eagrú Mórshiúl ar an Satharn 25 Feabhra i nGaoth Dobhar ag teacht le chéile ar an Screabán (oifig Roinn na Gaeltachta) ag an 12 i.n. Iarraimid ar phobal na scoile uilig, Bord Bainistíocht, tuismitheoirí agus foireann tacú linn ar an lá.

Bernadette Ní Dhuibhir, Príomhoide Scoil Mhín na Manrach, An Clochán Liath, said: “A National Day of Protest will take place TODAY Sat 25th Feb against education cuts announced in Budget 2012. These cuts have implications for our small schools. Classrooms will have bigger numbers and children will have less support as a result.

Craobh an Earagail, Gweedore Branch of the INTO are holding a march in Gweedore, meeting at Roinn na Gaeltachta Offices, Industrial Estate, Derrybeg, on Sat 25th at 12pm. We ask that the whole school community, Board of Management, parents and staff come out and support us on the day.
