DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 29, 2012

HUGH HUME

The death has occurred of Hugh Hume, of Bray and late of Donegal, ex An Garda Síochána, peacefully, at St. Vincent’s Hospital Dublin. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Peggy, nephews, nieces, cousins, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends. Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Parlour, Boghall Road, Bray on Thursday from 3.30pm with removal at 5.10pm to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 10am, followed by interment in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

JIM McCROSSAN

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Jim Mc Crossan, Drumbarnett, Manorcunningham. Remains reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass at 10am this Friday in St Columba’s Church, Drumoghill, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The house is private please from 11pm to 10am. Family flowers only please – Donations in lieu if desired to the Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital, c/o Charlie Mc Clafferty Funeral Director, Churchill and Letterkenny.

WILLIE PEOPLES

The death has occurred in Letterkenny General Hospital of Willie Peoples, 3 Fr McLoone Terrace, Oldtown, Letterkenny. Remains reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass tomorrow Thursday at 12 noon in St Eunan’s Cathedral with interment afterwards to Leck Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Donegal Hospice or The Alzheimer’s Society c/o Con McDaid and Sons Funeral Directors or any family member.Family time 10pm – 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

PATSY BREEN

The death has taken place of Patsy Breen, Greenfield, Convoy. His remains will repose at Gibson’s Funeral Home, Broadpath, Convoy from 3pm to 10pm today, Tuesday. Removal from there today, Wednesday at 5.30pm going to St Mary’s Church, Convoy to repose overnight. Funeral Mass tomorrow Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in the family plot at the old cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.

MARY WALSH

The death has taken place at Dungloe District Hospital of Mary Walsh, (Sunny), Sheskinarone, Dungloe, and formerly of Ranafast. Removal from Mc Glynn’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe today at 2pm, going to her late residence. Funeral Mass tomorrow Thursday at 11am in St Crona’s Church, Dungloe, followed by burial in Maghery Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Dungloe Hospital Patients’ Comfort Fund.  The house is private please from 11pm to 10am.

TOMMY BROWN

The death has taken place at Sligo General Hospital of Tommy Brown, Ellesmere Court, West End, Bundoran. Removal from The Shiel Hospital, Ballyshannon, this Thursday at 6.15pm, arriving at 7pm the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran. Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday.  Interment immediately afterwards in St Ninnidh’s graveyard, Bundoran.  House private please.
