GAA: KILLYBEGS GAA CLUB NOTES

The Killotto had no winner this week. The numbers were 12, 19, 20 and 29 125. There was 1 winner of Match 3 Numbers. Gerard Boyle, The Fleet, Killybegs gets €60 each. Next week’s Killotto jackpot is €3,600 and Match 3 is €60.
There was no winner of Bingo Jackpot. Consolation prizes went to Mary Gallagher, Church rd. Killybegs. Next week’s Jackpot will be €2,500 on 52 calls.

 

Killybegs played Castleblayney last Saturday in the Ulster league semi-final in Fintra. Killybegs won the game after extra time with a score line 1-09 points to 1-06. Killybegs will now play Ballinderry or Slaughtneil in the final of the Ulster senior league.

 

Club Membership is now due. You can pay Rita Nolan or Kathleen McCabe.

Na Cealla Beaga GAA host Strictly Come Dancing 2012 in the Blue Haven on Sat 24th March. Tickets are priced at €20 each and are selling fast. The ladies team ask you to support them in the purchase of St Patrick’s Day badges that are for sale in the business premises in the town. The badges cost 2 Euro. One euro goes to the Donegal Ladies GAA and the other euro to the Carers Association. The ladies team & management wish Aisling Cunningham a speedy recovery after her recent operation.

 

U-8’s training every Tuesday at 6 – 7pm at the vocational school gym until further notice. U-10’s training will be on each Monday at the same venue from 5.45 – 7pm.

 

There will be a fundraising quiz for both adult teams this Friday at 10pm sharp in Tara Hotel. Please come along and support with plenty of fun on the night.

 

There will be an Easter camp in Fintra from Tuesday April 10th to Friday 13th. Cost is €25 per child and €10 for additional child. County players from ulster will attend the camp. If there is anybody wishing to do a coaching course to contact coaching officer ASAP.

 

It is hope to run a supporters bus to the Ulster League Final. There will be more information to follow or check Facebook page.

 

Club Donegal is now available. You can get cards from Rita Nolan at €200 for the year. Killybegs U-16’s are playing Dungloe in Fintra on Sunday 18that 12pm.
