Important Club Development Presentation on Sunday 25th March 6pm at the Naomh Mhuire Clubhouse, The Banks.

A CALL TO ACTION ! Our Club development plan is entering a crucial stage with planning permission filed for projects starting early May and continuing through September. At the presentation, the club will detail the projects and kindly requests attendance by all interested parties with an important appeal to all tradesmen and women. The club needs help with volunteers from all trades to complete this ambitious development project.

Naomh Mhuire will be having a second registration night which will take place in the Clubhouse at 8pm on Wednesday the 28th of March. It is important that all underage are registered for the commencement of competitions. All members are required to attend and pay their membership which is now due. Any members wishing to avail of the Club Donegal card for 2012 can pay for it on Friday also. This night is for All Adults and children to cover the membership for 2012. Anyone who is not fully paid up before the 30th of March, will not have a vote in the club’s AGM, next year, and will not be considered for tickets in any County Game which may be all ticket games. All under-age players need to be registered to cover themselves for insurance against injury. Cost for membership for the year is e15 for under 18s. Membership fees are: Adult, €30.00, Students €20.00 and Underage Players €15.00.

Under 8 training returns to the banks this Saturday morning. Please note that training will begin at the earlier time of 10am and last for one hour.

Thanks to Naomh Conaill who travelled down for a friendy against our under 10s on Monday last. We will return the favour later on in the year.

The under 10 and under 12 panels will travel to Dublin this Saturday for a blitz and will also attend the Donegal v Dublin game in Croke Park.

The under 14s will host the Feile in the banks this Saturday morning with the games beginning at 11am. The under 14s played GaothDobhair in a friendly on Monday last which proved a good run out.

The under 16s lost out to Four Masters in the div 1 league last Sunday. They play Naomh Conaill this Sunday with a throw-in time of 12 midday.

The minors will play St.Eunans in a friendly this Friday in Letterkenny with the bus leaving the car park at 3.45.

There is a level 1 coaching course in Dungloe on the 23rd/24th March and 30th/31st March. Anyone who has the foundation award and wants to do this course is encouraged to attend when the course is being offered close to home. Please contact Gary.

Training continues for Peil na mBan in the Aishlann on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm. Need all ladies players out training as league starts on 8th April. Anyone new players wanting to sign up for ladies or under age teams contact Donal O’Searcaigh, everyone welcome. Thanks to all the people who bought the St’Patricks day ribbons to assist the ladies club and Carers Donegal Asociation and to all the sellers who did a great job getting the Ribbons distributed. Maith sibh.

A second show for the Jigs and Reels has been announced for March 30th with tickets for the extra show on sale at all Cope Supermarkets and Stephen O’Donnell’s, Crolly. Monies from the voting for the additional night will go to Dungloe Community Hospital.

Lotto details for week 14th March. Jackpot 1340 euro. No jackpot winner. There was five match 3 winners: Jimmy Doherty – Knoc a Stolaire, Declan McGinley – Calhame, Dom Gallagher – Mullachderg, Thomas McGee – Dobhair and Chloe Boyle – Mullacgderg. Numbers were 2-8-10-17.
