GAA: TERMON GAA CLUB NOTES

Termon GAA Notes: Week Ending 19/03/12

Minor Board:

Termon GAA would like to thank all the parents and children who attended registration in the Craoibhin last Friday night. Underage training continues this Friday evening 23rd March in the Craoibhin centre in Termon.

 

6 – 7pm.  U6 & U8 Boys & Girls Squads will train between

7 – 8pm U10 and U12 girls coaching will take place.

8 – 9pm under 10 boys training will take place.

9 – 10pm U12 / U14 boys coaching.

 

The club would like to thank the parents for their support with the late training times. The late starts will be for only 1-2 more weeks. Your support is greatly appreciated.

 

Ladies Board:

Congratulations to Hollie McDaid, Lauren McElwaine, Caroline Gallagher, Niamh Kelly, Elaine Doherty and Roselean Gallagher who are part of Loreto, Milford school team won the Ulster final on Friday against Loreto, Cavan and also their manager Grainne McCafferty. All the best in the All Ireland Semi final this Friday.

Congratulations to Geraldine McLaughlin who has won Donegal Ladies Player of the year 2011. Geraldine will be presented with her award at the Donegal GAA banquet on the 30th March at the Abbey Hotel.

The Junior ladies begin their  season this week in the Gaeltacht away to Kilcar. Good luck to Harry and the team.

Lotto:

 

The Lotto draw took place in place in McClaffertys Churchill on Friday last. The winning numbers were 4, 12, 19 and 27. There were 4 match 3 winners. James Cassidy, John Friel, Evelyn Toye and Jason Hegarty won €20 each. Open draw winners were Nicola Ferry and Catherine Slevin who won €10 each. Next week’s draw takes place in the Glenveagh Inn, Eddie Harkin and Brian McDaid are the coordinators. The jackpot is now €2000.

Senior:

Senior and Reserve training is continuing every Tuesday and Thursday night. All players to attend.

 

Membership

Annual Membership is now due for renewal. All players, managers and coaches must have membership to be involved with the club. Adult membership with lotto is €80 for adults and €60 for students. Anyone wishing to purchase a Club Donegal ticket which permits access to all men’s club games in the county free of charge can do so for €200 including your club membership. Poker Classic

Termon GAA will be hosting a Poker classic in the Lagoon, Termon on Thursday the 5th April 2012 starting at 8pm. Entry €20. For more info contact Joe on 086 406 0633.
