On Wednesday the 14th. March last we launched our “CHAIN FOR LIFE” which takes place on Easter Sunday next starting at 2.00 p.m. which we are doing for the Irish Cancer Society in conjunction with the
“RELY FOR LIFE” which takes place on the 26th. and 27th. May next at
the LYIT, Letterkenny.
We would like to thank all those who attended the launch, in
particular Fr. Sean Gallagher, representatives from the Falcarragh
Tourist and Traders and also represtatives from the Rely For Life.
Our aim is to make a human chain from Falcarragh to Gortahork which we estimate will take at least 2,000 people or more therefore we would
ask you all to come along on the day and join in this chain. The more
people we have the more money we can raise for this worthy cause which sadly touches the lifes of so many of our loved ones.
The chain will end in Gortahork where there will be light
refreshments, music and the Easter Bunny will be there for the
children. All in all we hope to make it a family fun day, and in doing
so it will be a great source of help to the Irish Cancer Society.
