Glenfin had the better of the first half and led by 2-06 to 1-02 at half time, with the Moville goal coming on the stroke of half time. The visitors rallied in the second half and two goals, one from a penalty ensured a tight finish. However Glenfin got back on top and eventually ran out winners by four points, 3-11 to 3-07.

Division Two Section Two

Fanad Gaels 3.10

Cloughaneely 2.11

Fanad Gaels made it two wins from four games following a second half fight back to record a narrow two-point victory over Cloughaneely at Portsalon on Sunday.

Cloughaneely dominated the first half with Harley, McHugh and particularly McGeady causing all sorts of problems for the home defence as they raced into a 1.06 to 1.02 lead at half time.

The Gaels produced a better performance after the break with Eoghain Carr winning a lot of possession as he pushed forward from half back. Martin McElwaine had a good game at the back also, but it man of the match Oisin Shiels who got the all-important scores including the winning goal near the end.
