DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR MONDAY, APRIL 2, 2012

SISTER EUGENE FULLERTON

The death has taken place of Sister Eugene Fullerton, Nazareth House, Fahan.  Her remains are reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel, with entrance to the chapel at the rear of the convent.  Funeral on Wednesday, with Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Cockhill.

BRIDIE DOHERTY

The death has occurred at Carndonagh District Hospital of Bridie Doherty Upper Tullagh, Clonmany. Her remains are reposing at her late residence.  Funeral from there on Tuesday, going to St Michael’s Church Urris for Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.  Family flowers only.  Donations in lieu to the Hospice Ward, Carndonagh Community Hospitalc/o any family member.

MARGARET ANN MARCHANT

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Margaret Ann Marchant, Iona House, Carn, Malin, Malin Head. Removal from the Chapel of Rest at Letterkenny Hospital today at 3pm going to her late residence. Funeral from there tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10.30am going to the Star of the Sea Church, Malin Head for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in Lagg Cemetery, Malin.

CHARLIE McATEER

The death has taken place at Aras Ui Dhomnaill Milford of Charlie McAteer Carlin, Kerrykeel. Removal from there at 6pm today, Monday, going to the home of his Sister Ann and Wilfie Ward, Carlin Lower, Kerrykeel. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.30am going to St Columba’s Church, Massmount for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Family Plot.

ROIS DOHERTY, DUBH

The death has taken place of Rois Doherty, Dubh, Ahilly, Buncrana. She died at her daughter Mary Mullen’s Residence at Bree, Malin Head. Her remains are reposing at her residence in Buncrana. Funeral from there tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10.15am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Diabetic Association c/o any family member

JIM HUNTER

The death has taken place at the Ramelton Nursing Unit of Jim Hunter, Cranford. His remains are reposing at his brother David’s home at Cranford. Funeral Service at his brother’s home tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2pm, followed by interment in Milford Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the Patients comfort Fund, Ramelton Nursing Unit.

MARGARET McGUIRE

The death has taken place at the Nazareth House in Fahan of Margaret McGuire, late of Nazareth House, Fahan and formerly of Moneydarragh, Gleneely and Carndonagh. Remains reposing at her nephew Gerard Doherty’s residence at Ourt Gleneely, travelling via Muff and Carndonagh. Funeral from her nephew’s residence tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Marys Church, Bocan, Culdaff. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

BILL NICHOLL

The death has taken place of Bill Nicholl, Conolly Homes, Malin Town. His remains are reposing at the oratory in Connolly Homes. Requiem Mass there tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11am, followed by burial in Lagg Cemetery, Malin.

JIM DOHERTY

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Jim Doherty “The Fiddler”, Legnahoorey, Kilmacrennan.Remains reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan, at 2pm on Wednesday followed by burial in Templedouglas Cemetery.

CHARLIE KELLY

The death has taken place in Letterkenny Hospital of Charlie Kelly, Barrack, Newmills, Glenswilly. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday, at 12 noon in St Columba’s Church, Glenswilly, followed by interment in Kilpheak Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Intensive Care Unit, Letterkenny Hospital c/o Con McDaid & Sons, Funeral Directors or any Family member. House private from 11pm to 10am, and on the morning of the funeral.

BELLA BRENNAN

The death has taken place in Dunlgoe District Hospital of Bella Brennan, Meenacross, Dungloe. Remains reposing at her own home. Funeral Mass in Meenacross Church tomorrow, Tuesday, morning at 11am, followed by interment in Dungloe Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Dungloe Patients Comfort Fund c/o any Family member.

LAURENCE CARR

The death has occurred of Laurence Carr, Millbrook Donegal Town. Reposing at his late residence. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.15am for Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town at 11am. Burial immediately afterwards in Clar Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Coronary Care or ICU Letterkenny Hospital. House private until Monday morning and on the morning of the funeral.
