ARRANMORE ISLAND MANSLAUGHTER CASE TO BE DECIDED TODAY

A man found guilty of the manslaughter of an Arranmore Islan man in 2009 will be sentenced today.

41 year-old Stephen Boyle was found not guilty of murder but guilty of the manslaughter of Paul Boyle in 2009 at the Central Criminal Court in February.

He admitted killing the 19 year old at Early’s Bar, Leabgarrow, Arranmore Island on October 3rd 2009.

Paul Boyle was out for a night with his father and friends when he died.

The accused lived in London but came back to a house he built on the island.

He admitted stabbing the teenager in the neck with a glass.
