DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SATURDAY, APRIL 21, 2012

BABY SOPHIE CONDRON

The sudden death has taken place of baby Sophie Condron, Infant daughter of Niamh Condron (Carlow) and Ryan Grant 22 Burwood, Buncrana. removal from Chapel of rest Letterkenny Hospital at 6 p.m. this evening (Sat) going to her home, funeral from there on Monday at 10.15 a.m. going to St Mary’s Church Cockhill for 11 O’Clock requiem mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11 p.m. until 10 a.m.

KITTY MCMENAMIN

The death has taken place at the Lake House Nursing Home, Portnablagh of Kitty Mc Menamin, Falcarragh. Removal from the Lake House today at 6pm going to her home. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in St Finian’s Church, Falcarragh, followed by burial in Glenfin cemetery. The house is private please from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

JOHN MCNULTY

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of John McNulty, Knockafaugher, Dunfanaghy.His remains will repose at his late residence from 4.30pm today, Saturday. Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough on Monday at 11am, followed by burial in Doe cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am.

MAISIE MCCAFFREY

The death has taken place at the Ramelton Nursing Unit of Maisie Mc Caffrey, Main Street, Milford.Removal from the Ramelton Nursing Unit tomorrow, Sunday, at 3pm to St. Peter’s Church Milford to repose overnight. Requiem Mass at 11am on Monday, followed by interment in Milford Cemetery. Deeply regretted by her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

KATHLEEN RUSSELL

The death has taken place of Kathleen Russell, Rahan, Letterkenny, mother and mother-in-law of Sammy and Hillary Russell, Carnamuggagh. Reposing at the residence of her grandson, Mervin Russell, Stranlongford, Drumkeen. Funeral service tomorrow, Sunday, at 2.30pm in Trinity Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Letterkenny, with burial afterwards in Gortlee Cemetery.  Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Joseph’s Hospital Comfort Fund, c/o Con McDaid and Sons Funeral Directors, Oldtown, Letterkenny, or any family member.

CHARLES MCGOWAN

The death has occurred of Charles McGowan Killybegs. Reposing at his late residence at 8pm. Removal on Sunday at 10.30am to the Church of Saints Joseph and Conal in Bruckless, for Requiem Mass at 11am.  Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Killybegs.

MARGARET DOHERTY

The death has taken place at her residence of Margaret Doherty, Billy, late of Ballamena, Glengad. Funeral from there on Sunday at 9.45am for Mass at 10.30am in St Patricks Church, Aughaclay with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

JOHN P WARD

The death has taken place at his late residence of John P Ward, Solicitor, Drumcliff, Donegal Town. Removal from there on Sunday at 12.30pm for Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, KIllymard at 1pm with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. House private.

CHARLIE BONNER

The death has occurred at Letterkenny General Hospital of Charlie Bonner, 610 New Houses, Killea, Carrigans. Remains reposing at his home. His remains will leave his late residence on Sunday at 10.30am going to All Saints Church, Netwowncunningham for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11pm – 11am.

 

SALLY MCFADDEN

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Sally McFadden, 428, Colehill, Newtowncunningham. Remains are reposing at her home. Funeral mass in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham on Sunday afternoon at 1pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Donegal Hospice c/o Charlie McClafferty Funeral Director, Churchill and Letterkenny. House private please from 11pm to 11am.

WILLIE PEOPLES

The death has taken place in his 90th year at his late residence of William ‘Willie’ Peoples, Trentaboy, Drumkeen. Funeral from there on Monday at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society, c/o any family member.
