Tá súil againn go mbeidh slua mór ag taisteal go Gaoth Dobhair. Ádh mór ar na dhá fhoireann.

All roads lead to Gweedore this Sunday. The senior ladies take on County Senior Champions Glenfin in the ladies final in an attempt to win their 3rd gaeltacht title in a row. The game throws in at 12.00 noon Sunday. This game is followed by our Senior men taking on St Nauls at 1.30 in the junior mens semi final. Gweedore have been very accommodating putting our two teams matches back to back and we would urge all supporters to make the trip to Gweedore on Sunday morning in what should be a good days football. Good luck to both teams.

Club Meeting

The monthly club meeting will take place next Wednesday the 9th of April at 8.30pm in the Craoibhin. All club members are encouraged to attend as our 50th Anniversary celebration plans will also be under discussion.

Minor Board:

Underage training continues the Burn Road this Saturday morning at 10.30 for the following age groups. Boys: U6s, U8s and Girls: U6s, U8s, U10s and u12s. Parents are asked to send outdoor clothing with their child. The under 10 boys are playing in Glenfin this Saturday at 11am. Parents will receive text in the coming days.

The minor boys were defeated by Letterkenny Gaels last Friday night.

Ladies Board:

The junior ladies continued their good start to the season with a home win against Muff. Dara Kelly and Shauna Kelly were best for Termon. The junior ladies play Gweedore this Wednesday at 6.15 at the Burn Road.

The senior ladies had a very useful workout in a friendly against Convoy on Sunday evening. Grainne McCafferty and Olive McCafferty were best for Termon. Thanks to Convoy for the game.

The u14s had a god win away to Letterkenny Gaels last Tuesday. Well done to all involved.

Mens Board:

Our Senior men continued their good run of form this weekend with a comprehensive victory over Carndonagh at the Burn Road. Daire McDaid and Jamie Gallagher were best for Termon.

The reserves recorded their 3rd win on the trot with a good first half performance enough to see off Carndonagh. Kevin Murray and Damien Neilis were best for Termon.

Lotto:

The Lotto draw took place in place in McClaffertys on Friday last. Francie Friel, Daniel O Donnell, Victor Wilkin and Paul/Shane/Kane Gallagher all matched 3 numbers and won €20 each. Open draw winners were John Gallagher and Harry Gibson who both won €10 each. Next week’s draw takes place in The Glenveagh Inn. Eddie Harkin and Brian McDaid are the coordinators. The jackpot is now €2300.

Burn Road Timetable

All managers are to take note of the calendar for the use of the Burn Road now in place at the Dressing Rooms. Any additional trainings and games times are to be cleared with Martin Friel. This is to ensure the pitch isn’t double booked in the busy weeks and months ahead. A new planner will go up this week for the month of May.

Sympathies

The club would like to extend its sympathy to Paul and Margo Doherty and family on the recent death of Pauls mother May Doherty last week. Ar dheis di go raibh a anam.

The club would also like to extend its sympathies to the Doherty family Clooncarney on the death of Charlie Doherty last week. Charlie was the bus driver for many of the clubs early underage successes. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam.
