MORE than 3,000 people are taking part in the North West 10k in Letterkenny this afternoon.

Belfast runner Joe McAllister is already across the finishing line – in an astonishing 30:56. Paddy Brennan Jnr was second in 33.02 and Christopher Johnston 33.17 was third.

Local runner Teresa McGloin, from Finn Valley AC, was the first woman home.

We will have all the results from the run/walk later today. Well done to all those taking part – all have helped to raise money for many local charities.
