BREAKING NEWS: Felix Healy has resigned as Finn Harps Director of Football.

Healy told the Finn Harps committee of his decision after last night’s heavy 3-0 defeat to Wexford Youths.

It is not known the reason for Healy’s decision but Harps poor run of late may well be the reason.

The Ballybofey team had improved and had climbed the table but a poor run of results in recent weeks has seen them struggle once again.

It has also been confirmed by the club that Peter Hutton will remain on as manager while Sean McGowan will become Hutton;s number two.

A statement released by the  club said “Finn Harps Football Club would like to announce that Felix Healy has resigned from his position of Director of Football due to other commitments. The club would like to thank Felix for all his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.”
