HUTTON UNDER PRESSURE AS FINN HARPS LOSE AGAIN

Finn Harps manager Peter Hutton is feeling the pressure after a shocking FIFTH straight defeat on Friday night.

A late goal from Ben Ryan gave Waterford United all the points at Finn Park.

Ryan fired home from three yards in the 83rd minute – a goal which will haunt Hutton after director of football Healy’s comment a week earlier: “That’s it kid…I’m gone.”

Unfortunately Harps were missing Kevin McHugh and Adam Clarke through suspension.

A crowd of just 350 turned up for the game which leaves Harps in sixth place overall in the league standings.

Finn Harps: Ciaran Gallagher; Thomas Bonnar, Aaron O’Hagan, Thomas McMonagle, Ciaran Coll; Matthew Harkin, Thomas McBride, Shaun McGowan, Paul Simon Tracey; Shane McGinty (Jordan Duffy 86), Blain Curtis (Gary Merritt 54).
Waterford United: Packie Holden; Paul Carey (Dylan Mernagh 25), Craig Burns, Seamus Long, John Frost (Gary Dunphy 59); Paul Phelan, Gary Dempsey, Peter Higgins, Ben Ryan; Peter Keegan (Darragh Walsh 80), Sean Maguire.
Referee: Phil Caschera.
