GAA NEWS: URRIS CLUB NOTES

GAA Bingo- Every Thursday Night At 9pm In St Marys Hall Clonmany Everyone Welcome.

Match & Win for 17/05/2012 No jackpot winner last week this weeks will rise to €3,540.00 numbers drawn were 12,15,21,24 the €15 consolation prizes went to James Cooke Clonmany, Neil Joe Mc Gonigle Cloontagh, Martin Shiels Figart I.O.D, Philip Ivers c/o Brineys Clonmany, Helen Gibbons Ballyhallion, Clonmany.

Cúl Camp 2012- dates and prices for this year’s Cúl Camp which are sponsored by Kellog’s have been announced. The Urris camp will run from Monday, July 2nd to Friday, July 7th inclusive.Prices are as follows: First child – €55, Second child – €45,Third and subsequent children -€40,Places can be booked online at https://secure.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/ or alternatively by contacting John Friel on 086 0523550.

Club Meeting – Next meeting is on Wednesday 30th May at 8.30pm.

Lucozade Club Challenge.

The club is registered for the Lucozade Club Challenge and is asking club members and supporters to collect the tops off Lucozade Sport and Lucozade Sport Lite bottles. The club which can collect the most bottle tops over the next few months has the chance to win up to €10,000. Tops can be given to any club committee member or left in at Straid on match or training days. For more information check out the Club Challenge website.

 

Fixtures For The Coming Week:

The U14 boys will be in action twice this coming week firstly on Wednesday at 7.30pm against Letterkenny Gaels in the Northern Board league and then against Malin on Friday at 7.00pm in the last round of the Inishowen League. The lads should be in Straid 40 minutes prior to the matches to prepare.

The U12 boys travel to Carndonagh on Tuesday evening with the games throwing in at 6.30pm; the lads should check with John if they are unsure of travel arrangements.

The U16 boys are also in Carn on Tuesday evening for their last fixture in the Inishowen league, their match throws in at 7.00pm and the lads should check with team mentors for travel arrangements.

The U14 girls travel to Carndonagh too this week on Wednesday for the first of their second round of matches; their game throws in at 7.00pm and the girls should check with Susan if they are unsure of travel arrangements.

The U12 girls will also make the short journey to our nearest neighbours this week when they too take on Carndonagh; match time and travel arrangements will be given to the girls at training.

 

The Senior and Reserve teams return to action this coming weekend with fixtures away to Termon on Friday and back in Straid on Sunday against Naomh Columba. The Friday fixtures throw in at 6.00pm and 7.30pm with Sunday’s games at 1.30pm and 3.00pm. Team mentors will give the lads travel arrangements for Friday’s games at training.

 

 

 

Underage Training Times -Under 14s Fridays at 5.30pm Straid David Hession. Under 16s Tuesdays 5pm Straid John Friel. U12s Friday 4pm Straid John Canny.U8 Boys & Girls Saturday at 11am Straid Susan McCarron & Sandra McGonigle.
