Bingo in Dunkineely on Friday night at 9pm. Prize money of €1170 paid out, 2 of the panel prizes at €100, one at €120 & one at € 70. Three of the line prizes at €40. The additional prize for checking on the magic number on the last panel, has now reached a massive €1,470. The Take you Pick Jackpot of is €170. The Club sincerely thank everyone who supports our weekly bingo, our Royal Flush Draw and all our Fundraising activities. Club Donegal is one again on offer this year and its especially beneficial to those who attend league and championship games throughout the county, as it gains free access to all fixtures. The cost for the year as set by the county board is €200 but the club are offering it to general members for €100, the same price as previous years. which includes membership, for playing members it will cost €130, which will include their membership also. Both teams were in action over the weekend but unfortunately, largely due to a number of players missing in both sides, the two suffered defeats. The reserve game finished 3-11 to 0-9, with scores coming from Liam Kennedy and Kevin O’Donnell. The Senior game ended 2-14 to 0-13 with scores coming from Dermot Gallier (0-9), Cian Kennedy (0-3) and Paul Gallier (0-1). Both teams are back in action next Saturday evening at home to Milford at 6pm and 7:30pm respectively. The club was very well represented at inter-county level over the weekend with three members playing up in Clones. The two Shovlin girls, Amy and Emer were part of the Donegal Minor Ladies team that lost out to Tyrone in the Ulster Final. Also Joe Alvey was part of the Donegal Minor Hurling side who for the first time, took part in the Ulster A Championship. They suffered defeat to a well fancied down side.
