A SUB FOR A SUB AS SANDWICH BUSINESS HEATS UP

If it’s not broken, then don’t fix it.

That would appear to be the thinking of sandwich chain Subway when it comes to Letterkenny.

The first Subway franchise was opened over five years ago on the town’s Main Street.

However, despite its popularity, the sandwich bar closed.

However local businessman Kevin Grimes spotted a gap in the market and opened Subs which was also very successful.

But Subs also closed a number of months ago leaving a gap in the market and on the Main Street.

So step forward another food retailer – none other than Subway.

Builders were busy getting the premises ready yesterday and a sign above the premises says Subway will be opening soon.

So it appears that you can replace a sub with a sub!
