BREAKING NEWS: The brother of John Gallagher is to reveal further revelations about the double-killer in a television documentary tonight.

Midweek on TV3 will broadcast an interview with Gallagher’s brother Donal.

The Lifford man will speak about how the latest twist in the story of John Gallagher has plunged the Donegal family into further crisis.

The majority of the family say they do not believe the 46 year old, who killed Anne and Annie Gillespie in 1988, is insane.

However they also say they do not want him released from the Central Mental Hospital for fear he will strike again.

Collette Fitzpatrick interviews Donal Gallagher and asks what will the family do if John successfully applies to be released from hospital when the Mental Health Review Board meets to decide his case.

Midweek is on TV3 tonight at 10pm.
