FAMILY COMMUNITY EVENT – FOR NEW PARISH CENTRE
On Sunday July 8th we will hold a family ‘walking and talking’ event to raise funds for our new Parish Centre. Registration in the porch of St. Patrick’s Church from 1.30pm and we will begin walking at 3.00pm. The walk route will take us through Donegal Town, around the Abbey Cemetery and along the beautiful Bank Walk. Tea and scones will be served afterwards in Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala in the Aodh Rua building, with lots of opportunities to catch up with friends and to meet new ones. Don’t forget to take a bottle of water and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come along with your friends and neighbours to support your new parish centre and have a bit of fun as a community! No fees, donations only.

Mini Crotchets and the Tir Chonail Youth Choir present “Shreked the Musical” in the St John Bosco Centre on Saturday 2nd , Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th June each night at 8.00pm. Additional Matinee Sunday 3rd at 3.00pm. Adult’s €7.00 or €5.00 concession.
DONEGAL MUSIC EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP
To celebrate another successful year of providing Instrumental and Vocal tuition throughout the county of Donegal, we are holding a series of Concerts that showcase the Students, Tutors and various performing groups within the service. Our Summer Showcase 2012 is a Celebration of live Music and of Donegal’s young, rich Musical talent. Your local concert will be held on Wednesday June 6th the Abbey Centre, Ballyshannon 7.00pm. Admission Free.

DONGAL COMMUNITY BAND FUND RAISING TRIP
We are holding a fund raising trip on Donegal Bay Waterbus on Wednesday 27th June, 2012. Join Danielle O’Donnell and his wife Majella for High Tea on the High Seas, Entertainment and great company on the Waterbus. Boarding is from 2.00pm for sailing at 2.30pm. Tickets for this unique event go on sale next Saturday 9th June in the Waterbus office at 2.00pm. Price €35.00.
