GARDAI have arrested 30 people so far at this weekend’s Rory Gallagher tribute festival in Ballyshannon.
All were detained for public order offences or possession of drugs.
The number of arrests however is not overly high for a festival attracting more than 12,000 people.
Thousands of them packed into the town last night to seek former Rolling Stone Mick Taylor headline.
Tonight it’s the turn of Horslips to entertain the crowds – a massive tourism boost for Ballyshannon.
Gardai have warned that more officers will deal decisively with any public order offences or drugs use.
All those arrested have been released and will be dealt with by way of summons.
