DONEGAL GOLFER BEATS ODDS OF 64 MILLION TO ONE WITH TWO HOLES IN ONE!

A Donegal golfer is celebrating after recording one of the most amazing sporting achievements ever.

Gerry Guckian hit an astounding two holes-in-one – in the same round!

Gerry was playing at Greencastle Golf Club on Sunday when he achieved the amazing feat.

The 49-year-old was playing a competition on the last day of the club’s open week when he hit his first record shot at the ninth hole.

He had barely recovered from the shock when just two holes later he shot his second hole-in-one.

The chances of hitting two aces in a single game is said to be about 64 million to one.

Winning the Lotto is only about eight million to one.

A spokesman for Greencastle Golf Club said “Gerry is quite the toast of the place at the moment. Hitting a hole in one is a rare thing but it is done occasionally.

“But hitting two and in the same round of golf is unheard of.

“Everyone was telling him it would have been easier to pick the winning lotto numbers.”
