GAA NEWS: NAOMH BRID CLUB NOTES

Our reserves took on Glenfin on Saturday evening last at Pairc Naomh Brid. Playing against a stiff breeze the lads put up a great fight in the first 20 minutes but two quick Glenfin goals left them in control at the break 2-8 to 0-3.

The lads tagged on a number of points to cut the deficit at the beginning of the second half but Glenfin managed to tag on a few points of their own to keep themselves ahead. In what was an entertaining game of football, Glenfin emerged victorious on a scoreline on 2-13 to 0-9.

A defibrillator course will take place in the Community Centre, Ballintra on Monday 18th June at 7pm for any persons who wish to take part. The cost of the course is €60.

The club are currently trying to compile a collection of old photos and articles etc. of club teams. Could any persons who are willing to give some articles and photos to be copied get in contact with Martin O’Malley regarding this.
