Naomh Columba 19.06.2012

Our men travelled to Killygordon on Friday evening for their league tie with Red Hughs. The reserves ran out comprehensive 1.13 to 0.11 winners, however the seniors lost by a point, 1.04 to 0.06.

This weekend sees us host St Nauls on Saturday evening, with games set for 6pm and 7.30pm. Best of luck to the lads.

In underage matters, hard luck to our under 14s, who missed out in a place in the divisional final by losing out to Bundoran by a single point in Saturday’s semi. Well done to our under 12s, who recorded a great victory away to Naomh Mhuire on Monday evening.

At the time of going to press they are scheduled to host Na Cealla Beaga on Thursday evening, with a 7pm throw-in at Páirc na nGael. Our under 8 team will host a home blitz on Saturday morning at 11am, check locally for further details. The club will host the third annual Darren Mc Ginley memorial tournament on Saturday, June 30th, commencing at 11am.

The day promises to be an exciting event, and as always we are requesting donations of baked goods from the local community. Further details to follow next week.

Ticket orders for the Ulster semi-final clash between Donegal and Tyrone are due by 2pm this Friday. Pre-ordering is only required for the Gerry Arthur Stand (Clones). Stand tickets are priced at €25 for adults and €5 for children, while the terrace is priced at €15 for adults and €10 for children. Please book stand tickets from Denis Ellis 087 290 3456, Noel Ellis 087 919 2867, or Geraldine McGuire 086 371 5260 before 2pm Friday.

Níor bhaineadh lotto na seachtaine seo caite, agus ba iad na huimhreacha a tháinig amach ná 9-16-19-21. Tugadh duaiseanna aitheantais chuig na daoine seo a leanas: €50 Christopher Byrne, Teileann. €30 Vera Carr, Mín an Draighin. €20 Marie Mc Gettigan, Droim Rua. €20 Gerard O Byrne, Málainn Bheag. €20 Abby Cunningham, Cuirrín.
