Steven Perry and Nigel Drein, organisers of the Motiv8 LK Event, handing over a cheque for over €3,517 to Betty Holmes of Donegal Action for Cancer Care (DACC).

DACC was the chosen charity for the event which seen 9 Letterkenny Celebrities successfully complete Gaelforce North after only 8 weeks of training!

Both Motiv8 Fitness and DACC would like to thank all those involved in fundraising efforts.

Betty Holmes of the DACC said “The amazing work that these 9 people who undertook the challenge did was remarkable. Like we told Nigel & Steven who we thank most sincerely the money is very important, we cannot continue our work without it, but equally as important is the health awareness, education and lifesytle changes that these 9 people have made through this incredible event will now be passed onto their familes, friends & work colleagues.

“This is a very valuable& worthwhile step in the right direction in the battle against cancer & other major health conditions.”

Hopefully the Ulster Bank cheque will be cleared in the not-too-distant future!
