THE fastest man on earth could soon be beating a track to Co Donegal!

Usain Bolt told an astonished Myles Gallagher on Highland Radio today that he is hoping to visit the county next season.

Gallagher was interviewing Bolt’s manager Ricky Simms on his sports show on the station today when the Milford man handed his phone to the treble gold medal winning athlete.

The 100m, 200m and 4x100m Olympic champion told the show that he had been asking Ricky about a visit here.

Bolt told Myles that he wasn’t even 100% fit for the Games but he was “in good shape.”

He said he would “go through the motions because I’m happy” for the rest of the season.

The Jamaican was asked if he planned to visit Donegal.

“That’s a good question, I have been asking him (Ricky) the same question for a while, probably next season so we’ll see,” said Bolt

“I’m looking forward to it.”
