Sir Gerry Robinson, best known for his recent TV series Gerry’s Big Decision and Can Gerry Robinson Fix the NHS?, is the guest speaker of Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce’s business evening.

The event “In Conversation with Sir Gerry Robinson” takes place on 18th September in the Radisson Blu Hotel at 7pm.

Gerry Robinson is a native of Donegal and lives in Raphoe but he has spent the majority of his career working in the UK, turning round major organisations.

While he is well known here for his beautiful gardens at Oakfield Park he has gained public recognition for his TV programmes that saw him working with small businesses, encouraging families to work on their inheritance issues and he even tried to sort out the NHS.

John Watson, President of Letterkenny Chamber says “Gerry Robinson is one of the best known businessmen from Donegal and it is his wide ranging experience that sets him apart and makes him someone that can inspire us all. We have always been keen to get Gerry to speak at one of our events and we were delighted that he found time in his busy diary to slot us in.

“Gerry has a vast range of experience and we believe that this event will be attractive to entrepreneurs, existing businesses as well as management and leadership teams across all sectors.

“Gerry has turned businesses around and through his television series we have been able to see how he took on the challenge presented by major organisations such as the NHS as well as many small businesses. So no matter what your background whether you are an employer, employee, manager or business owner this event with Sir Gerry Robinson is sure to be inspirational.”

The event will be structured in such a way to be as interactive and so that rather than Gerry giving a talk he will be interviewed using questions submitted by those attending. So if you have a burning questions to put to this business guru, just register for the event and submit the question.

Toni Forrester from Letterkenny Chamber says “It is rare to hear Gerry speaking so close to home and we are delighted to be able to open this event to all. We believe this will appeal to business owners, employees, management teams and leaders from all types of organisations and also provides an excellent opportunity to network with other businesses.”

Bookings are already coming in for this popular event that takes place on Tuesday 18th September at 7pm in The Radisson Blu Hotel. The cost is just €20 per person or €180 for a table of 10 including light refreshments.

To book just contact Letterkenny Chamber on 074 9124866 or email toni@letterkennychamber.com .
