HE always said he would have loved to have played for Donegal in an All-Ireland final – so it’s little wonder that Killybegs man and Everton star Seamus Coleman has given his seal of approval to the internet song which is fast becoming the new theme tune for the Donegal GAA team.

Rory Gallagher from Kilcar and his Senegalese friend Jimmy have had tens of thousands of views on their ‘Jimmy’s Winning Matches’ video since it first appeared on donegaldaily.com last week.

Now Rory has revealed that Coleman emailed him today from Belgrade where he is with the Irish team.

“Seamus said he loves the Donegal track,” said Rory today.

“He said he has been listening to my songs on iTunes all day.”

Our video is of Rory’s first collaboration with Jimmy 16 months ago.

You can download their tunes on iTunes under Rory and the Island.
